CORRESPONDENCE/INFORMATION:
1. Tim gave a SR2S update.
He’s working with a police cadet to count schools traffic in the district. The
counts will be performed at all C13j schools except Central High. The tally
sheets will show how students get to and leave from our schools; walk,
bicycle/skateboard/rollerblade, school bus, or private vehicle. This data is
needed for our SR2S grant application, and will also be available for anyone
requesting it..
Tim
says we have a good chance of getting this grant, as we’re one of the few
districts in the state with a SR2S team. Excellent job by Tim.
