We will be giving the OACP Police Officer Selection Test (POST). If you are taking the test at our agency you a fee of $13 will be charged for the test. The tests will be held on DATEth at xx:xx (Central High School Library, 1530 Monmouth Street), and DATE at xx:xx (Independence City Hall, 240 Monmouth St.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the test. We would also like you to RSVP which test you will be attending in order to know how much seating will be needed. You must have a least a 70% on each of the four sections of the test to pass.
 
The next step will be ORPAT, the physical fitness test.

ORPAT test will be on April 28th, at 14:00.
This test will be administered at the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training in Monmouth, Oregon.

All applicants who pass the ORPAT will be given the background packet to complete within one week and return to our office.
 
The top 6 to 8 applicants after all test scores, ORPAT and incentive points have been compiled, will be invited for an oral interview. This interview will be held on May 3rd, between 8:00 a.m. and 18:00 p.m. These oral boards will be held at the Independence Police Department.
 
The remainder of the applicants will be maintained on a list for future interview if needed.
