It is the duty of the Traffic Safety Committee to research, develop, and recommend implementation of coordinated traffic safety programs to meet local needs, to act in an advisory capacity to the city council and the City Manager in the coordination of traffic safety activities in the city and to foster public knowledge in support of traffic law enforcement and traffic engineering problems.
